Kingdom Houses Tenant Wins Month’s Free Rent
With the sunshine well and truly here and the long stretch of Summer ahead of us, we here at Kingdom Houses have a lot of reasons to celebrate… as does one of our tenants, who has just won a month’s free rent in our monthly prize draw!
As part of our tenant rewards platform, giving Kingdom Houses tenants exclusive access to a wide variety of discounts, deals and savings at restaurants and retailers across the UK, every tenant is given the opportunity to enter a free prize draw with a month’s free rent up for grabs. This month, Kingdom tenant David Stevens was the lucky winner, so we caught up with him to see how he felt about the happy news.
How did you feel when you got the phone call about winning this month’s rent?
“I was really surprised to get the email with this news – but good surprised! It’s been a tough month for me, so this news out of the blue was a real pick-me-up.”
What was your reaction?
“Shock, surprise, and elation! As I say, I wasn’t expecting to win this and it’s coming at a good time.”
How long have you been renting with Kingdom Houses?
“I first moved into the house in September 2018, so coming up to 4 years soon.”
What do you think of the service as a whole?
“I think the service provided by Kingdom Houses is really good. Whenever I’ve had an issue with anything in the house, raising a ticket is easy and someone comes to fix things very quickly (especially compared to other places and letting companies I’ve used before). I think it’s really good value for all the “extra” things that come aside from my room – a big garden, all bills covered, spacious kitchen, cleaning supplies etc.”
How do you feel now vs when you moved in?
“When I moved in nearly four years ago, I was new to living in London and didn’t look at too many places beforehand. Now I feel like I was really lucky to pick such a great place when loads of my friends have had to move multiple times to find somewhere decent.”
What do you think about Kingdom Houses’ rewards platform?
“Having a rewards platform offered by Kingdom Houses is quite an unusual thing for letting companies to provide (I don’t think any of my friends have a similar service) but is another really good thing to take advantage of. I’d definitely recommend others look into what’s on offer there if they haven’t before.”
What are you going to spend the prize money on?
“I’m definitely going to put the money towards a holiday or two. Now we’re coming out of the pandemic, I’m very keen to make up for lost time with some traveling. I’ll also treat my housemates to a bottle of prosecco or two!”
